End of Book Summary

Day attempts to escape by faking like he has the plague but doesn't get far at all. June needs help so she finds Kaede and Tess who are Patriots and make and excellent plan to rescue Day but June had to use all of her rewards for capturing Day to bribe Kaede into doing the plan. Day's execution gets moved up a day and then right before he gets executed the Patriots arrive and save the day, Day and June make it out but John sacrifices himself so that they were able to. They are safely together but not for long because the Republic thought they killed Dad because John looks like him and he had Day's blindfold on. Day and June kiss and are together to end the book. I\'m assuming the story picks back up in the second book called Prodigy.
